  13. What confusion?  If you do not like a keyboard shortcut, you change
  14. it.  This is a feature that makes a GEM program user-friendly, and
  15. not having it detracts from the program somewhat.  It is more work
  16. for the programmer, but only once.  Anyone programming in
  17. a reasonably modular language can use the same set of functions
  18. for every program they write.  As for it being a mess for the user,
  19. this is simply nonsense.  If the user does not want to change the
  20. keyboard shortcuts, he never has to even look at this feature.  If
  21. he does, the method should be simple enough that it is NOT a mess
  22. for the user.
